Enjoyed getting a win on this one. Took me a few tries to get and I was having fun the whole way through. Cool idea, would love to see an expansion on it.
One note, I first thought that the attack areas were already upgraded and that trying to buy another removed what I had. Went much better once I realized it was showing the potential upgrade for that attack location.
I agree with you that the upgrades UI is somewhat confusing. I changed the title in the rules image to say "Purchasable Upgrades" to help with the problem a bit. Unfortunately I can't change it inside the game for now :/
